Departments

The departments at Cherokee Elementary work together to support the academic success, well being, and daily needs of our students. Each area plays an important role in creating a positive and supportive learning environment where every child has the opportunity to learn and grow.

Our grade level areas include third grade, fourth grade, and fifth grade, where students continue building strong academic foundations and preparing for the transition to middle school. Cherokee Elementary also provides important support services through Child Nutrition, Special Education, the Media Center, and Mental Health services to help meet the needs of all students.

Our staff and support personnel work behind the scenes each day to ensure that our school operates smoothly while providing encouragement, guidance, and care for our students.

Together, these departments work collaboratively to support the whole child academically, socially, and emotionally while helping every Cherokee Elementary student reach their full potential.
