4th Grade

Fourth grade at Cherokee Elementary is a year of growth, exploration, and deeper learning. Students continue to build on the strong academic foundation developed in earlier grades while expanding their knowledge and skills in reading, writing, mathematics, science, and social studies.

Throughout the year, fourth grade students are encouraged to think critically, ask thoughtful questions, and take greater ownership of their learning. Instruction focuses on strengthening comprehension, developing strong writing skills, and applying mathematical concepts to real-world problem solving.

Our fourth grade teachers are dedicated to creating engaging classrooms where students feel supported, challenged, and inspired to do their best. At Cherokee Elementary, we are proud to partner with families to help our fourth grade students grow academically, socially, and personally as they prepare for the next steps in their educational journey.
